Today was a really good day.  I got to see my baby sister, Olivia.  I haven't seen her in person since she went to Rene's in April.  Rene and Ole brought her down to spend some time with her girls.  I know she misses them and it was great of them to bring her.  They have been so good to Olivia.  I haven't seen my cousin Rene since we were kids and it was good to see her too.  I met Ole and he seems like a genuinely kind person.  I think they are both very good people.  I can't thank them enough for what they are doing for my sister.  You know, people come and go in our lives and sometimes I wonder why God lets the good ones wander out of our lives and lets the bad ones stay in it.  I didn't get to spend alot of time with Olivia but I think it was a good visit.  I left my house at 7am to be there before 9am when they were planning to leave, got there at 8:30.

Jessi went with me and after the visit we kind of just wandered around Macon.  I showed her some places of where I used to live and go to school when I was very young.  We went by J. D. Kinders to see Aunt Susie but she hadn't made it in yet.  We visited a little while with my cousin Debbie.  It seems like it was a day for cousins.
We just took our time getting home.  We did stop by the Nursing home to see Daddy.  He seems to be doing well.  His brothers are planning a Memorial Day picnic here at White Water park in Oglethorpe and he is kind of excited about that. 
Well, tomorrow Ricky is supposed to take me to finally see Dark Shadows.  I can't hardly wait to see it.  I remember watching the series with Granny.  One of many happy childhood memories.
